About Us

Safety Environmental Co. of N.Y. Inc was founded in February 1991 by its president, Dr. Francis Owoh, an Industrial and Safety Engineer and was formerly known as Safety Environmental and Engineering Co.

It was formed as and Environmental Engineering and Construction Site Safety Organization and have become one of the leading Environmental and Site Safety Consulting Firms in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Safety Environmental provides the following services: Asbestos/Lead Air Monitoring & Laboratory Analytical Testing Services. Construction Site Safety

Management, Project Management, Hazardous Waste Management, Industrial Hygiene, Health and Safety, Indoor Air Quality, Environmental Site Assessment 1, 2 & 3 and Remediation and Mold Consulting.

We are a Certified MBE, LBE, DBE Business Enterprise Organization by New York State, New York City, New York City and New Jersey Transit Authority, Port Authority of NY/NJ, New York City School Construction Authority, New York/New Jersey State Department of Transportation, New Jersey Department of Commerce and Economic, The City of Philadelphia.

The Safety Environmental Co. staff include Board Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified

Safety Professionals, Environmental Engineers, Certified and Accredited Lead Base Paint Inspectors, Risk Assessors, New York Asbestos Project Designer, Project Monitors and Air Monitoring Technicians who are available on a 7 day a week, 24 hour basis (in emergencies).

We are accredited and approved by New York State Environmental Laboratory Approval Program and American Industrial Hygiene Association.
